Accountants make rules that make sense so that other accountants can follow the rules, and everyone communicates better.
Lawyers make rules that don't make any sense, so that the only ones who can "interpret" the rules are other lawyers, thereby inhibiting communication to preserve their own power.

Well, I mean, if they used technical terms like "profit", I can see how Jax would get confused. That one usually floors our F&B managers over here...
